The Mascoteers are a collection of indie game developers from WebAlive, a Melbourne based digital agency who have over 10 years of experience in the industry. Our team of incredible developers love to create new and interesting games. Often finding that the simplest concepts make for the best, most addictive game play.
Our developers are creating, dedicated and most importantly they love to play games. They bring this passion to all their projects, focusing on creating the right balance of complexity and satisfaction.
After enjoying success with the colourful Candy Bounce, Glide Origami and Neon Man, The Mascoteers knew they wanted to focus on game play and further enhance the player’s experience.
The Mascoteers began to pursue a more pared down, minimalist aesthetic, favouring bold, strong colours and shapes to help utilise the latest touch screen technology and take advantage of the latest mobile device’s incredible resolutions.
This resulted first in Striker – a fiendishly difficult game in its simplicity, and then produced The Mascoteer’s greatest success 360 Degree, which was downloaded by over 1 million gamers in its first month.
